Success!

When I planted these lilies last year, I had to wrap the bulbs in chicken wire to protect them from underground varmints. The ones that devoured my crop of garlic this year.

Heh, heh, heh.
I outsmarted those rascals.

  1. Wow! Very pretty!

So, if the bulbs are wrapped in chicken wire, how can they multiply? Won't the kind of strangle in the wire?

  2. I don't know. I wondered about that too but it was that or....have them eaten. I didn't wrap them tightly either, more like a cage.

Any other remedies you know about?
