Let's Dream About Summer Gardens...

These are photos I took last year on a garden tour.

The Pacific Northwest is a garden paradise. Temperate climate, volcanic soil and mild (ha!) winters.

These were growing along the sidewalk on the way to the showcase garden.

A classic knot garden. I want that pot.

A broken pot as garden art.

A great idea for a gate (I am gathering great gate ideas...) This one is bent copper pipe with a lovely green patina from the Northwest rains.

This tiny yard had something like eighty rose bushes and thirty clematis vines. Often mixed and growing together.

Such a vibrant combination of plants.

The iconic Salmon as garden art.

Who wouldn't swoon over a greenhouse like this one?

Such a great place to relax and dream about gardens...
